Why can't you drink?

A short defense of a thing I could do, but won't.

This is a funny one, because if we’re speaking stricly about whether or not I can drink, the answer is actually that I could if I wanted to. In fact, there’s a theological argument that would say I cannot drink wine, but harder spirits not made form grapes would be totally fine. This sounds ridiculous, and I personally disagree very strongly with that way of justifying drinking. But to understand why, we need to talk about the letter of the law versus the spirit (no pun intended) of the law.

To be completed.
